This is an opportunity to work with a small but growing dynamic team who prides itself on providing a unique and specialised service to adults with neurological conditions and those with complex therapy needs.

Over 5 years, we’ve developed an extensive network of professional relationships across Aged Care and Community Services and now require the expertise of two experienced Occupational Therapists to support our team and grow our business. Initially we envisage a 15-20 hour work week with the option of further work as the business grows.

About The OT Job In Brisbane

You will be required to asses, design and implement OT programs for people with neurological conditions and complex care needs in the home or aged care setting.  You will liaise directly with our patients, their family, case managers, GP practices and insurance companies to deliver a personalised service to each patient. Other aspects of the role include:

  • Training carers and community members
  • Research, technical writing and data management
  • Equipment and technology use

We are seeking suitably qualified Occupational Therapists with the following:

  • Approx. 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Compassionate nature
  • Technically savvy

Candidates must have:

  • Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Sufficient Public Liability and Public Indemnity Insurance
  • AHPRA registration
  • Police Checks and provide 2 referees
  • B.Y.O device ( tablet or Ipad).
