We’re looking for someone, maybe like you, seeking clinical variety to grow their therapy skills to serve people who live with complex conditions such as acquired brain injury, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and stroke.
Whilst you don’t need a medical referral to access our Cognitive Assessment Service, a medical health summary from your GP is a vital piece of information that we ask to receive before completing the assessment. This summary helps us tailor the assessment to your specific needs and provide the most accurate recommendations.
Our Cognitive Assessment Service is designed to be inclusive and beneficial for a wide range of individuals, regardless of specific health conditions. The tools and methods we use are adaptable to various needs and concerns. If you’re unsure whether the assessment is right for you, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss your situation.
Yes, if you wear glasses or rely on hearing aids, we ask that you bring these items to the assessment. Ensuring you have everything you need for optimal hearing and vision helps us conduct the most accurate and effective assessment.
This service is part of your initial occupational therapy consultation and, as such, may attract private health insurance support if you have this service included in your cover. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your coverage details.
The classic OT service portfolio such as home assessment, assistive technology as well as specific neuro-therapy programs for people living with Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, MS and Mild Traumatic Injury.
